​Education and Outreach

Outreach means rocketeers helping their community. TBRA often receives requests for assistance with model rocket activities from local schools, Scout groups, Civil Air Patrol, and others. These requests vary from simple "show and tell" displays up to group build and fly events. While TBRA is organized under Tripoli, we have do have NAR members to assist with local TARC teams. When we help these groups, we are not only giving back to the local community, we also help introduce a new generation to the model rocket hobby.

We provide launch support for Middle and High School students participating in the American Rocketry Contest, University students in the NASA Student Launch Program, as well as other groups such as school science launches, scouts, and 4-H programs.

TBRA charges reduced or no range fees for groups, and we ask that you contact us as far in advance as possible. More information is available on the groups page.
